About Dolphin Discovery Centre
The Dolphin Discovery Centre is a non-profit organisation, so every purchase helps fund vital conservation, ecotourism, education and research projects – contributing to the future of our amazing marine life. The collaboration between the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre, universities, government agencies and other like-minded organisations both locally and internationally ensures that the well-being of our wild dolphin population and marine environment remains at the heart of our efforts. In particular, our research partnerships have created a scientific foundation for understanding our local dolphin population, and future research will continue the expansion of our 31-year-long dolphin-specific studies, monitoring and exploring the marine environment.

The collection currently includes 2 different scissor models. The Comfort Craft Scissors in 5 different colours – each assigned to a different sea creature. And the all-rounder: the Household Scissors. This model features a unique coral reef design that connects all the sea creatures. Each scissor is fully engraved with the reef and animals on both the inner and outer blades. The back side also offers space for an optional custom engraving, making this scissor a truly special, personal gift. On request, we can lovingly package your scissor in one of our high-quality gift boxes.

Let your fish swim in the virtual aquarium
But that's not all – for every order you’ll receive a thank-you email from us with a download link. It contains a colouring page with a sea animal in PDF format. You can print, colour, and send it back to us via scan or post. We will collect all the pictures and forward them to the Dolphin Discovery Centre in Australia. And what happens next is almost magical! Your artwork will appear in a huge virtual aquarium – and you can watch how your creations swim along. Check out the video to see how it looks!
The all-rounder for kitchen and home – the Household Scissors
The Household Scissors are the all-purpose tool among scissors and belong in every household – also ideal for office use. Thanks to their special grind, they cut paper, cardboard, packaging or foil easily and cleanly, with high cutting performance right to the tips. The adjustable screw ensures smooth movement and proper tension. The blades are made of stainless steel with a precision grind. The break-resistant ergonomic plastic handles are injection-moulded directly to the blades. Several colour options are available.

Care tips for optimal sharpness
While the household scissors could survive a round in the dishwasher, we recommend cleaning them with warm water and a little dish soap. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong cleaners to preserve the material and enjoy long-lasting sharpness. Occasionally applying a drop of PAUL care oil into the screw slot and between the stainless steel blades ensures smooth operation. If your craft scissors no longer cut perfectly or become damaged after years of use, take advantage of our special service – we sharpen and repair your scissors – for more sharpness and sustainability.
