The blades of these kitchen scissors are made from stainless and particularly hard Solingen knife steel. This ensures long-lasting cutting quality, further enhanced by a special two-surface grind (faceted grind): delivering easy, clean cuts and strong cutting power all the way to the tips. Especially when cutting meat, vegetables, and herbs, the quality of the PAUL kitchen scissors makes all the difference. They also cut through plastic or paper packaging and cardboard effortlessly. An optional fine micro-serration additionally holds the material in place during cutting, preventing slipping and providing extra “grip” — an especially practical feature when cooking.
The groove in the middle of the handles helps open twist-off caps or crack nuts. A flexibly adjustable screw ensures the correct tension and smooth operation when cutting. The kitchen scissors feature impact- and break-resistant, ergonomic plastic handles that are certified for food safety. All our kitchen scissors are hygienic, anti-allergenic, and resistant to acids.

Care Tips for Maintaining the Sharpness of Your Kitchen Scissors
While the kitchen scissors could survive a dishwasher cycle, they are best cleaned with warm water and a little dish soap. Avoid scouring pads and aggressive cleaners to protect the material and maintain optimal sharpness for a long time. Occasionally placing a drop of PAUL care oil into the screw slot and between the stainless steel scissor halves will keep the scissors running smoothly.
Should the kitchen scissors lose their optimal sharpness or become damaged over time, take advantage of our special service: we will gladly sharpen and repair your scissors or provide suitable replacement parts — for more sharpness and sustainability.
