Our Premium Professional Tailor’s Shears are asymmetrically shaped: the lower blade lies flat and fully on the surface while cutting, which prevents the fabric from lifting or shifting. The shears are easily guided from above. Depending on your material and preferences, you can choose from various sizes and colors. Heavier, longer tailor’s shears offer especially good leverage – when in doubt, opt for the heavier model, particularly for thick or multi-layered fabrics. Thanks to the elaborate double-facet grind, these tailor’s shears are exceptionally sharp and deliver joy with every cut. Made with solid blades from rustproof Solingen knife steel, they’re the perfect high-quality companion for frequent use and demanding sewing tasks.

Care Tips for Long-Lasting Sharpness
While this shear would probably survive a round in the dishwasher, it’s best cleaned with warm water and a little dish soap. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong detergents to protect the material and preserve sharpness for years to come. Occasionally applying a drop of our PAUL maintenance oil into the screw slot and between the high-quality stainless steel blades ensures smooth, easy cutting.
