This is our professional tailor's scissors for heavy materials: It cuts fabrics, leather, rubber, cardboard, soft plastic, and carpet – and effortlessly slices through technical textiles such as aramids or fiberglass. These specialty scissors are equipped with a unique hollow grind blade, providing perfect sharpness and enabling precise work. The 3 mm thick blades are punched from stainless steel, making them especially durable. Thanks to their bent design, they glide securely along the surface and allow for long, straight cuts. The solid screw connection forms a stable pivot point and ensures safe cutting even of thick material. The cutting action can be adjusted via a steel screw.

Care Tips for Long-lasting Sharpness

While these high-quality scissors could survive a trip through the dishwasher, they are best cleaned with warm water and a bit of dish soap. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh cleaners to prevent damage and maintain their sharpness. Occasionally placing a drop of PAUL care oil into the screw joint and between the stainless steel blades ensures smooth operation.
