Thread Scissors Premium – the versatile scissors for handcrafts and sewing
Whether for professional use or as a hobby: these thread scissors are perfect for all kinds of handcraft and sewing tasks. Thanks to the slim, sharp tip, our thread scissors allow precise, clean cutting of fabric edges, threads, seams, and fine fabrics with little effort. Their stainless Solingen steel blades stay sharp for a long time, making these scissors a durable companion.
Ergonomic and professional thread scissors
The high-quality blades made of stainless steel (Solingen steel) feature a double-beveled special grind: this makes them professional in use and very durable in sharpness. The injection-molded, break- and impact-resistant plastic handles ensure a permanent and hygienic connection. They are symmetrically shaped and comfortable to handle. The screw connection is flexibly adjustable to always ensure the correct tension.
By the way: We also offer these thread scissors with a technical serration that provides even more precise cutting and reduces the risk of slipping while cutting. Additionally, we offer a special version as thread scissors for left-handers.
These scissors are especially suitable for: professionals and hobby tailors looking for a high-quality precision tool. For tailors and curtain makers, fashion designers, textile companies, alteration tailors, fabric retailers, households, and everyone who enjoys handcrafts.

100% Made in Germany
Our thread scissors are 100% Made in Germany: For over 130 years, the Scherenmanufaktur PAUL has been producing highest quality scissors in the German tradition of craftsmanship. With patience and care, we give each pair of scissors the greatest possible precision and quality at a fair price-performance ratio in our manufactory in Harsefeld.
Care tips for optimal sharpness of the thread scissors
Although the Thread Scissors Premium could survive a round in the dishwasher, they are best cleaned with warm water and some dish soap. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh cleaners to protect the material and enjoy optimal sharpness for a long time. Occasionally applying a drop of PAUL care oil into the screw slot and between the high-quality stainless steel halves ensures smooth and effortless cutting at all times.
If the thread scissors no longer cut optimally after a long time or get damaged, use our special service: we gladly sharpen and repair scissors or provide suitable spare parts – for more sharpness and sustainability.
Optimal storage for your scissors is also provided: In cooperation with the atelier of Sibilla Pavenstedt, we have developed high-quality scissor cases handmade at the non-profit association „Made auf Veddel“ in Hamburg. In addition to cases, we also offer a storage pouch for smaller scissors, handmade by the atelier „CARLITOS handmade“.

Super Schere

Unentbehrlich!!!
