Domestic animals depend on their owners to care for their fur. Long or curly fur requires regular thinning to give it a soft bounce. And even though horses don’t frequently look at themselves in the mirror, they look better when manes and tails are groomed. But it isn’t merely a matter of beauty. Grooming the fur promotes animal health and well-being, for example for grazing livestock or animals kept in wildlife parks and zoos during seasonal moulting. To achieve this, we offer a range of thinning scissors, fur shears, dog scissors, sculpting shears and mane shears.
Injury-free cutting
Great caution is required for removing matted fur and particularly for trimming paw hair and the hairs around the ears, eyes and mouth, to prevent a nervous animal from being accidentally injured.
