Fine things need proper care
We guarantee scissors of the highest quality and a long lifespan. Treated with care, this precision tool will accompany you for a lifetime. We recommend using scissors only for the purpose they were designed for – this ensures the best edge retention.
Cleaning
Although our scissors would survive a quick spin in the dishwasher, we recommend a shower under warm running water with a little dish soap. Please do not treat your scissors with a scouring pad – it will cause unsightly scratches and can reduce cutting performance.
Care
An occasional small drop of mineral care oil in the screw slot and between the blades keeps the scissors moving smoothly. You can find the ideal special oil in a practical pipette bottle here in our shop.
Storage
Your scissors always want to be stored clean and dry. Would you like to store your scissors so that they are always at hand and elegantly presented?
For this purpose, we have developed various scissor storage bags in collaboration with the studio of Sibilla Pavenstedt. Our scissor bags are of the highest quality and are handmade by the association "Made auf Veddel" in Hamburg. Each piece is unique and bears a label with the name of the seamstress who made it. Service & Repair
Scissors that have fallen on the floor can warp. If your scissors lose their sharpness after very long, intensive use or need to be straightened, we are here for you.
